What the site is
The Lamplit Team publishes general, practical writing about leading volunteer teams, small groups, meetings and short talks. It is not legal, financial, medical, psychological or pastoral advice. Organizations differ: always follow your own organization's policies, especially on safeguarding, safety and data protection, and ask a qualified person when a situation calls for one.
Using our templates
You are welcome to copy the templates and checklists from our pages (rotas, agendas, minutes layouts, talk outlines, question sets) for use in your own team, group or organization, including printed handouts. Please do not republish our articles in full elsewhere or present them as your own. Short quotations with a link back are fine.
Sponsored links
Some pages contain sponsored links to stores or courses. We may earn a commission if you buy or enroll through them. Prices, availability, course content and terms are set by those businesses, and any purchase is a contract between you and them. We are not responsible for their products, services or websites.
Your messages
If you write to us, please do not send anything confidential about other people. We may use the topic of a question in a future piece, but we will not publish your name or identifying details without your permission.
